Using our largest and best data quality sets yet, we were able to produce depreciation charts for a whopping 206 models this year so far. That's up from 182 last year. There were a total of 42 new models (listed below) with 18 that were either discontinued, or do not yet have enough sales and listings data for 2019. For now, we are re-directing the not-enough-data ones to archived versions of the 2018 curves.

Hats off to Subaru who has overtaken Toyota for the top spot in our 5-year value-retention rankings as featured on the home page.

In fact, Subaru took over the 3-year rankings as well by a very slim margin. On the luxury side, Lexus takes this year's crown for the 5-year rankings.  We also welcome Tesla to the top 6 in their first year on the site with the Model S having been available since 2012. Click here for a complete list of the rankings.
